Two weekends ago, I wrapped up my final group of fall mini sessions. Being a family photographer can be exhausting towards the end of peak fall season. Spending some of the most beautiful fall evenings away from your own family to capture memories of others. Editing my little heart out to produce the final images. What a gift to be able to do what I love though. To share my love of candid moments through photography. I feel lucky to be able to deliver these galleries to my families.
In October, I was blessed to photograph 23 different families. Just writing that seems surreal. After taking pictures for friends and family for a few years, I knew I needed to either make this into a legitimate business or use this camera to document our family only. Starting this business 18 months ago was a leap of faith that I’m so glad I made. This has been a blessing for my family and a creative outlet for me while I stay home with our girls.
These two families’ sessions quickly became some of my new favorites. I know…I say that a lot! I’m thankful to call them both friends before they were clients. We go to church with the Davidson’s. I love watching our kids run around in the commons area of our church together. The Ditmer’s are dear friends who I’ve gotten to photograph multiple times in the past year. Being able to create heirlooms for these two families makes me so happy.
Without further ado, the Davidson & Ditmer family!
