Being able to share my voice is a gift I don't want to ever take for granted. This blog is a window to my heart & my business. You'll be able to enjoy my latest sessions & photography tips. But I'll also be sharing more of my passions like pursuing a simpler lifestyle and personal images from our day to day.
My session with the Sincock family took place at this beautiful wooded preserve in Beavercreek, OH. Featured on the property is a beautiful red barn, natural walking paths, perfect pockets of sunlight, a pond and lots of goose poo. Yes, so true. This happens every time I do a session near a lake or pond!
As I was preparing for this session, I realized how many of my clients are families with young children. This made me even more excited to photograph the Sincock family with three preteen & teen daughters! As a mom of girls, spending the evening with them transported me about 10 years into the future. It gave me a glimpse into life with a house full of girls. A lot of spunk, plenty of silliness, some sass and a whole lot of love. Bring it on teen years!
We incorporated the family dog, Beau, into our sunset session. This Weimaraner’s personality fits right in with their fun loving personalities. He is clearly loved and his energy was a sweet addition to the Sincock’s session. I made sure to snap a few of Susie and Beau since he’s basically her fourth child.
Next year, they’ll be relocating to Italy for three years. I may be a bit jealous, but excited to see all of the adventures this family of five (well six) gets into while overseas. What a wonderful opportunity to explore the world in your teen years!
