While the Gharst family was in town over the Thanksgiving holiday, we were able to sneak their session in on Black Friday. Their lifestyle family session took place on Karen’s brother’s newly purchased farm. And we finished up right before a Thanksgiving dinner with extended family! Perfect timing.
Brice & Karen are native Daytonians and just recently moved out of the area. Being able to capture moments on her brother and sister-in-law’s farm will be so meaningful as their children grow up. They will come back and have memories of where they made a pretend campfire and had a stick fight.
Nolan & Alana braved the cooler temperatures, but were definitely happy when we were done. As temperatures drop, it becomes more difficult to keep younger children comfortable during an outdoor session. Due to this, we ended up doing more of a lifestyle session. I think it turned out beautifully. The Gharst’s will be able to look back on these genuine moments as their children grow.
Here is a glimpse into my lifestyle family session with the Gharst family. The last picture is one of my favorites. Nolan & Alana are completely & utterly obsessed with their grandpa. It was the cutest thing!
