Being able to share my voice is a gift I don't want to ever take for granted. This blog is a window to my heart & my business. You'll be able to enjoy my latest sessions & photography tips. But I'll also be sharing more of my passions like pursuing a simpler lifestyle and personal images from our day to day.
It is always an honor for a family to ask me to be their photographer. I don’t take it lightly because I know how much our family photos mean to me every single time we have them taken. They are a peak into our life as a whole family. Not mom or dad behind the camera, but everyone together and it’s truly special to be able to deliver these memories to families.
I am even more humbled when another photographer asks me to take their family portraits. What a beautiful gift to bestow back on another person who gets what it’s like to be behind the camera and capture those memories for others.
Not only is Crystal a family photographer in my area, but we actually went to the same church and have so many things in common like our Bible study, mutual friends and even similar aged kids. I loved photographing their family after getting to know Crystal so well over the past few years.
Their sweet crew is a beautiful testament of God’s enduring love and faithfulness. The youngest four are quadruplets, so you can imagine how many diapers were changed in their house those first few years. Couple that with having a toddler at the same time and you can imagine there was a never a dull moment in the Hayes household and probably never will be.
Together, Matt & Crystal are currently planting a church in the Yellow Springs area. They are both passionate about changing young people’s lives. As you can tell, they are a beautiful & loving family that any community would be lucky to have.
These portraits were actually taken last fall, but I never got around to posting them here. I hope you enjoyed viewing these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
